Roasted Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts
From Beth and served at Christmas Dinner
Ingredients
- 6 strips bacon
- 2 lbs. brussel sprouts
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1/3 cup toasted pecan pieces
Directions
- Heat oven to 425°. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Bake bacon on parchment for 15 minutes. Remove bacon and place on paper towels. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk maple syrup and vinegar.
- Reduce oven heat to 400°. Using same baking sheet and parchment, place brussel sprouts on baking sheet. Drizzle syrup mixture over top and toss lightly to coat evenly.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally for more even browning.
- Coarsely chop bacon. Toss bacon and pecans with sprouts and serve immediately.
