Chowder

Ingredients

  • Couple whole or half chickens
  • Beef
  • Potatoes
  • Carrots
  • Corn (canned)
  • Green beans (canned)
  • Waxed beans (canned)
  • Rutabaga
  • Parsnips

Directions

  1. Cook chicken and save broth prior to starting chowder.
  2. Start potatoes and beef in chicken broth. Put in rutabaga, parsnips, and fresh carrots.
  3. When the corners are off of the potatoes, stir in canned vegetables.
  4. Add the chicken last to warm it up.
