Chowder
Niagara Hose recipe - best profits made on rainy days when the kettles would fill with water.
Ingredients
- Couple whole or half chickens
- Beef
- Potatoes
- Carrots
- Corn (canned)
- Green beans (canned)
- Waxed beans (canned)
- Rutabaga
- Parsnips
Directions
- Cook chicken and save broth prior to starting chowder.
- Start potatoes and beef in chicken broth. Put in rutabaga, parsnips, and fresh carrots.
- When the corners are off of the potatoes, stir in canned vegetables.
- Add the chicken last to warm it up.
