Scallops
Another outlaw recipe, as we had no seafood recipes, but we do love our outlaw recipes.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups scallops
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- Lemon juice (optional)
- Parsley (optional)
Directions
- Combine butter, flour, mustard, salt, and milk to make sauce.
- Cook scallops in simmering water briefly.
- Add to sauce and place in shallow baking dish.
- Melt butter and combine with breadcrumbs. Put on top of casserole.
- Bake at 400° for 10 minutes, uncovered.
- If desired, add lemon juice to the sauce and top with parsley.
