Balsamic BBQ Glazed Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Directions

  1. In a sauce pan, combine balsamic vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, black peper, and garlic powder. Simmer 15-20 minutes or until reduced by about 1/3.
  2. Season chicken all over with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Heat grill to medium and place chicken onto grill. Brush chicken with some of the bbq sauce.
  4. Cook chicken about 5 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 160°, brushing with bbq sauce every few minutes.
  5. Allow chicken to rest for a few minutes and serve with remaining warm balsamic bbq sauce.
