Strawberry Pie
Mike's favorite dessert - it can make him forgive any unbudgeted shopping trip.
Ingredients
- 1 baked 9-inch pie shell
- 1 (8oz. package) cream cheese
- 1 quart fresh strawberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 Tbsp. corn starch
Directions
- Spread cream cheese on bottom of pie shell.
- Cover with 1/2 of strawberries, halved.
- Mash remaining strawberries. Add to saucepan with sugar and cornstarch.
- Cook over medium-high heat until thick and glazed. Pour over cream cheese and halved strawberries.
- Cool in fridge.
