Strawberry Pie

Mike's favorite dessert - it can make him forgive any unbudgeted shopping trip.

Ingredients

  • 1 baked 9-inch pie shell
  • 1 (8oz. package) cream cheese
  • 1 quart fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. corn starch

Directions

  1. Spread cream cheese on bottom of pie shell.
  2. Cover with 1/2 of strawberries, halved.
  3. Mash remaining strawberries. Add to saucepan with sugar and cornstarch.
  4. Cook over medium-high heat until thick and glazed. Pour over cream cheese and halved strawberries.
  5. Cool in fridge.
