Peanut Butter Pie
Gee went on vacation to Maine and all we got was peanut butter pie...and it was worth the trip.
Ingredients
- 1-1/4 cup maple syrup
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 stick butter, melted
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 2/3 cup chopped peanuts
- Pie Crust
- Chocolate sauce
Directions
- Beat syrup, eggs, sugar, butter, peanut butter, and peanuts together and pour into unbaked crust that has been dribbled lightly with chocolate sauce.
- Bake at 325° for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cover with foil and continue baking till pie is tall and firm. (About 15 minutes more.)
- Dribble with chocolate sauce after baking. Serve with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.
