Schnitzel
John made these for Oktoberfest
Ingredients
- Pork or Veal, ground to 1/4" thick cutlets
- Salt & pepper
- Flour
- Egg
- Panko
- Lemon zest
- Thyme
Directions
- Set up 3 separate bowls or containers for dipping your schnitzel. The first should have flour, salt, and pepper. The second should have an egg wash with salt and pepper. And the third should have Panko, salt and pepper, lemon zest, and thyme.
- Run each piece of schnitzel through each bowl in order and pan fry in 350° oil.
