Helf's Hot Sauce

Helf's Stand. Treasure this one because Mom wasn't going to give it up.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1/3 bunch celery
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 large cloves garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. marjoram
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. pepper seeds
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • Tomato paste

Directions

  1. Fry bacon and vegetables till soft.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and cook.
