BBQ Sauce
A smoky, tangy barbecue sauce perfect for the summer. This amount is perfect for filling a mason jar and using it throughout the season.
Ingredients
- 2-1/2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Liquid Smoke
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 serrano pepper, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Directions
- In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
- Cover and refrigerate.
Makes about 3-4 cups of sauce
