Bread Pudding
Good to use with stale bakery bread.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2-1/2 cups dry bread cubes
- 1/3 cup raisins
Directions
- Beat together eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
- Place dry bread cubes in an 8x1.5 inch round baking dish.
- Sprinkle raisins over bread. Pour egg mixture over all.
- Bake at 325° for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly.
