Molasses Cookies

Don't use this recipe if you want them to look pretty because they all stick together.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3-1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup raisins (optional)

Directions

  1. Mix margarine, sugar, and molasses, adding molasses slowly.
  2. Mix in remaining ingredients.
  3. Drop cookies on a baking sheet and bake at 350&176; for 10 minutes.
