Triple Chocolate Truffles
A recipe from Ginny, these chocolate truffles are gooey and decadent.
Ingredients
- 4 (1oz) squares unsweetened chocolate
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided)
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 Tbsp. baking cocoa
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Confectioner's sugar
Directions
- Melt unsweetened chocolate, 1 cup chocolate chips, and butter. Cool slightly.
- In mixing bowl, beat sugar and eggs for 2 minutes. Add vanilla and chocolate mix.
- Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Add to the chocolate mixture.
- Add remaining chocolate chips.
- Cover and chill for at least 3 hours.
- Roll into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes.
- Dust with confectioner's sugar.
