Fanny Farmer Fudge

Million dollar recipe. Legend has it that the Swistons' relatives sent for the recipe. It was delivered followed by a bill for $1,000,000.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 (5 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 14 large marshmallows
  • 1 small package chocolate chips
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

  1. Bring sugar, evaporated milk, and marshmallows to a boil and stir constantly for 6 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, butter, nuts, and vanilla.
  3. Stir until dissolved.
  4. Put in buttered pan. Chill.
