Seafood Newburg
Wendy's Christmas brunch contribution.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1-1/2 cup light cream
- 3 beaten egg yolks
- 2 (5 oz. cans) lobster or crab
- 3 Tbsp. dry white wine
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Paprika
Directions
- Melt butter. Stir in flour and cream. Cook and stir until thick and boiling.
- Stir hot mixture into egg yolks. (Just a little at a time to prevent curdling.)
- Add remaining ingredients and cook until heated through.
- Serve over toast or biscuits.
