Onion & Thyme Omelet
It's a simple recipe, but I never would have thought to put onion powder and thyme in my eggs. This is the best omelet I've ever had.
Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 1/8 tsp onion powder
- 1/8 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tsp butter
- 1 oz cheese
Directions
- In a small bowl, whisk egg, onion powder, and dried thyme.
- Melt butter in a small pan and pour whisked egg mixture into pan, ensuring it reaches the edges. If there is raw egg on top, tip the pan while lifting the edge of the omelet so that the raw egg can run underneath.
- Flip the omelet and add cheese. When cheese is slightly melted, fold in half and transfer to a plate.
