Old Fashioned Pancakes

These pancakes are thick and fluffy and the cinnamon kind is scrumptious! From Allrecipes.com.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 3-1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1-1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted

Cinnamon

  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Pecan & Pumpkin

  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg, and melted butter. Mix until smooth. Add cinnamon or pecan ° pumpkin ingredients if you choose.
  3. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat.
  4. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
  5. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
