Rosemary Cheddar Muffins
These flavorful muffins barely need butter. Another recipe from Taste of Home.
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2-2/3 tsp baking powder
- 2/3 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 Tbsp. minced fresh rosemary or 1 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
- 1-1/4 cups 2% milk
- 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°. Combine flour, cheese, and rosemary in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, combine milk and mayonnaise. Stir mayo mixture into dry ingredients until just moistened.
- Spoon mixture into 12 greased muffin cups and bake until lightly browned and toothpick comes out clean, 8-10 minutes.
- Cool 5 minutes in tray and then remove to a wire rack to finish cooling.
