Pizza Dough

A fluffy and flavorful pizza dough perfect for crust lovers. From Taste of Home

Ingredients

  • 4 tsp. instant yeast
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 6 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 4-1/2 cup flour

Directions

  1. Combine the yeast, salt, and honey with warm water (warm but comfortable to touch). Let sit for 5 minutes to activate yeast.
  2. Add oil and then add flour one cup at a time. Knead.
  3. Lightly oil bowl, place in dough, cover with plastic and let rise until doubled in size. (If using active dry yeast, let rise twice.)
  4. Use with your favorite pizza toppings.

Makes enough for 2 large pizzas.

Try adding garlic powder and basil leaves to give it some extra flavor.
*This dough can be frozen and used at a later time.
