Pizza Dough
A fluffy and flavorful pizza dough perfect for crust lovers. From Taste of Home
Ingredients
- 4 tsp. instant yeast
- 3 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. honey
- 2 cups warm water
- 6 Tbsp. olive oil
- 4-1/2 cup flour
Directions
- Combine the yeast, salt, and honey with warm water (warm but comfortable to touch). Let sit for 5 minutes to activate yeast.
- Add oil and then add flour one cup at a time. Knead.
- Lightly oil bowl, place in dough, cover with plastic and let rise until doubled in size. (If using active dry yeast, let rise twice.)
- Use with your favorite pizza toppings.
Makes enough for 2 large pizzas.
Try adding garlic powder and basil leaves to give it some extra flavor.
*This dough can be frozen and used at a later time.
