Crescent Rolls

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour, plus more for resting
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp dry yeast
  • 1 heaping Tbsp Crisco

Directions

  1. Combine flour, salt, sugar, and egg in food processor.
  2. Microwave water and milk to warm, but not hot and add yeast. Add Crisco.
  3. Combine wet ingredients into dry ingredients by pulsing the food processor until dough forms.
  4. Place dough in a floured bowl and let sit 1 hour.
  5. Shape into rolls and place on a baking sheet. Let them rise again.
  6. Bake for 12 minutes at 400°.
