Simple Syrup

Used to to make milkshakes at Helf's. You may wish to reduce the quantities if you are not preparing this for a large gathering.

Ingredients

  • 3 quarts water
  • 5 lb. sugar
  • 1/2 oz. super concentrated vanilla

Directions

  1. Put water in kettle and boil.
  2. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Add vanilla.
  3. Save syrup to put into milk and ice cream for milkshakes.
